About Me

Intro

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in the United States. As a result, I have two native languages: English and Spanish. I bring my passion for connecting people, cultures, and language into every brand and campaign I work on. I build meaningful, successful relationships both with and for the brands I work with through data-driven brand strategy.

I am a creative, detail-oriented, results-driven individual. My experience is focused on developing brand strategies for medical device and pharmaceutical brands, though I also have experience in account management, project management, working within and with agencies, website development projects, and market research. My interest in research and organizing information has led me to create guides on my Etsy page in my free time.

Outside the office, I love art, reading, writing, sci-fi (especially Star Wars and Stargate), technology, travel, and my bunny, Baby George:

Current Role

I am currently an Associate Director of Strategic Planning at FCBCURE, an IPG Health company. I help health brands anticipate and tackle marketing challenges, build meaningful relationships with customers, and ensure a compelling, unified brand voice.

Past Experience

In my last role, I was a Senior Strategist at MRM, building strategies for various healthcare and pharmaceutical brands with a focus on HCP marketing for pediatric and adolescent vaccines. As a strategist, I’m the voice of the brand and its audiences to strengthen the relationships between them. I immerse myself in the industry to better understand both how the target audience thinks and behaves, and why they do so.

I worked as a Senior Client Strategist at Engage, a digital agency outside D.C., where I was responsible for strategy, account and project management, and campaign development and management. I helped lead a team of Advertising Strategists and scale the department, delivering advocacy campaigns, branding, and websites for national trade associations, healthcare organizations, and advocacy coalitions.

Right after graduating college, I worked as a Research Analyst in the Innovation service line at Ipsos, one of the world’s largest market research firms, in both the Norwalk, CT, and Washington, D.C. offices. My role spanned questionnaire design, data analysis and visualization, project management, and insight development for new products and services across industries including healthcare/pharma, CPG, financial services, and tech.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in Marketing (minors in Psychology and Digital Marketing) after completing two years at Carnegie Mellon University. At SHU, I earned the silver medal for Excellence in Marketing, a 3.94 GPA, Dean’s List honors every semester, induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and the Ariana Petillo Scholarship. I also worked as a marketing research assistant with Dr. Jose Mendoza, compiling pricing and consumer behavior data used to develop an AI system for optimizing product pricing.

The summer before graduating, I worked as a Marketing Intern for New Business & Client Services at Craft Worldwide (part of McCann Worldgroup within Interpublic Group) in NYC. While at Craft, I created brand analysis reports and presentations in preparation for New Business pitches and optimized a comprehensive RFI/RFP database to organize Craft’s pitch data and documents. My time at Craft also provided me with several opportunities to sit in on the pitch process as it was being coordinated internationally.

That same summer, I also assisted Keith McVaney at Rice-McVaney Communications with film positioning research in preparation for two then-upcoming Sony cinematic productions.

Previously, I worked as a Medical and Mental Health Office Manager at Connecticut Counseling Centers in Danbury.
